(Luke 21:28) And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
Often I have seen the question “Is this the beginning of the end?”. The words “Armageddon.” And “World War III” sometimes appear in news articles. When one compares the things in the news headlines with what the Bible says about the “Latter Days”; it certainly forms question marks in the mind.
The war between Russia and Ukraine, the pandemic and fear caused by the Corona virus outbreak, besides drought and famines should definitely make people sit up and take notice of what time it is.
These things are just a precursor to what Jesus Christ was speaking of in Luke chapter twenty-one. Jesus’ prophecy here is about the Seven years of the Great Tribulation. That will come to pass before Jesus Christ comes back As the King of Israel to redeem His chosen people, Israel and take His place on His Throne in Jerusalem. But now it is time for men, women, and children to understand that God’s judgement on this world is coming close. Luke 21:36 says
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
There is only one way to escape the judgment on this world by God. God, Himself provided that way of escape by sending His own Son, Jesus Christ The Righteous, not to condemn the world that first time but that the world might be saved by faith in His blood.
(Acts 17:30) And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31) Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.
(Heb 2:3) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;
Are you ready for redemption?
