THANK GOD FOR FAITHFUL MEN!
Our church has supported three of our missionary families for many years now, and we have found through time and trial and troubles that these men and their families have proved themselves faithful to the work God has called them. Just since the beginning of this year these men are facing more trials
Brother John Sarra is our missionary to Zambia where he started sixteen years ago. He has had malaria numerous times as well as other diseases that are common in central Africa. This has taken a toll on his body, but after some medical attention he is heading back to Africa in May.
Brother Jeff Smith has been our missionary in Scotland for many years and has been faithfully serving God and seeking souls there in our stead. Brother Jeff has been diagnosed with his second bout with brain cancer since he has been on the field. He is continuing to serve God there in Scotland through the surgeries and therapy.
Brother Jeff Williams represents us in New Zealand and is preparing to start a third church there. The other two churches are still witnessing and winning and working as independent self supporting churches and are sending out their own missionaries. In spite of the continual opposition by false religions and recent tragic earthquakes and typhoons brother Jeff continues to serve God faithfully.
There have been many missions boards and mission groups that last only a few years and when things go against them they give up and go home. Thank God for faithful men and their families who stay the course and finish the race.
Most men will proclaim every one his own goodness
but a faithful man who can find?
